Data Stewardship

Data stewardship refers to the collection of practices that ensure data is properly collected, stored, maintained, and shared throughout every aspect of the data lifecycle. FAIR data stewardship combines the concepts of data management with a coordinated set of actions to ensure data remains findable, accessible, interoperable, and reusable (FAIR).

GO FAIR US is committed to bridging the gap between skilled data stewards and organizations in need of robust research data management. We actively support the development of the next generation of data stewards through partnerships, including the GO FAIR Foundation’s Fellows program, as well as our own internship and training opportunities. By fostering expertise and facilitating connections, we aim to strengthen the adoption of FAIR principles and advance responsible data stewardship across diverse research communities.
